    The prospect of former U.S. President Donald Trump’s return to the White House is also pushing the bloc to try and be less reliant on Washington for defense and security.

    Is that a real possibility? I know Biden is fairly disliked, but… A guy who tried to overthrow democratic elections by assaulting the capitol? Really?

    That being said, I live in Italy and we have recently elected the most far-right government in our recent history, so who am I to judge.

      Prediction markets put his odds at about 30% so it’s not the most likely outcome but it’s still very possible.

      Trump is the most popular republican candidate. He doesnt even participate in debates because he doesn’t need to. As long as his opponent is another 80+ year old, his chances are still high.
