Might be using the wrong terminology, but I have an account on lemmy.world and I want to subscribe to a community on a different instance, e.g., lemmy.ml from within wefwef.

How can I do that if I already have the HTTPS link for the new community I want to subscribe to?

Search for it by name of the community.

If that doesn’t work, it looks like WefWef doesn’t work with discovery by search yet.

You should be able to click a link to it though, eg. [email protected]

So when I search for rabbit, it doesn’t return anything since that is on lemmy.ml.

Maybe I should text myself the link?

It could be that wefwef is getting rate limited on Lemmy.world again, I was having issues with comments loading etc and after switching to an account on a different instance I no longer have that issue! Hope this helps.

That’s weird that you could have replied 2 hour after I made that comment since I nearly instantly deleted it

I’m new to Lemmy and wefwef as well. Try the search function at the bottom and enter the name of the sub you would like to subscribe to. Use the „community“ option in the search. You will see the sub count and the instance name right behind the community name you searched for.
