I think the corruption of the empire in the midst of the rise of the global South and the dissemination of information means that America can no longer dictate policies around the world (else we coup, bomb or destabilise you) without consequence, and that the narratives around America, which basically turned the world’s rapist and murderer into a hero or something (nothing new, just the new head of Western civilization, after the UK, France and Germany bombed each other into irrelevance), are quickly being destroyed by reality.

Of course, most of the world understood this inherently because they were Western victims, but heads of state (and everyone under them in the power structure, including media companies) had to acquiesce or else… now, not so much.

If even the so-called victim says nothing happened, I bet there’s Western actual rapist money involved in this.

If I understand the question properly… alcohol, certainly, at least in the West, South America and some Asian countries from what I’ve seen. Really fucks people up in very visible and less perceptible ways, and everyone I’ve met that comes from generationally alcoholic families is severally fucked, physiologically and psychologically.

I haven’t since Facebook, and I stopped using it in 2011-12. Nothing to do with morals or idk digital know-how, I’m just very easily triggered by people spouting half-baked, often morally disgusting opinions, and I’d rather not get my day ruined finding out a person I had partied with and gotten along fine was actually either very dumb or very evil. At least on Reddit/Lemmy/the chans idk the person so the emotional impact is lessened. 🙃

It’s not about religion or ideology, Brits are hedonistic alcoholics first and foremost so that doesn’t even cross their minds. No, it’s because so-called Jews are Europeans whilst Muslims rarely are. None, actually. And we had a lot of sleep deprived nights out in the open too! I’m very religious but not at all superstitious, and I would be if I had any supernatural experiences (or I’d cry cause my mind is breaking and I’m going schizo, lol) but it just hasn’t happened to me.
