    Here in Missouri, it’s functionally illegal to be homeless. So if you lose everything you’re gonna be out of state eventually unless you have a support structure to rely on. Some places don’t enforce, but they know they can. It’s all so twisted and nobody talks about it.



  • I think smart kids figure on some level if their parents can “get away” with it, then why can’t they too. Some parents think, smart kids = Less Work, but it’s the opposite. “Dumber” kids have to play the game of life harder, they get good at it with practice. “Smarter” kids are more likely to cheat or avoid growth opportunities because they can. It stands to reason that facing fewer challenges in life can make you less capable compared to somebody who’s only known challenges. I think a lot of parents made this mistake, and it’s created a generation of people who think everything they say is intelligent, but fail to understand why nobody agrees with them.
