It feels like given the number of incidents Okinawa somehow has a particularly bad problem with US soldiers committing heinous crimes against the host population. This demonstrates the difference between open-source and open-weight very well. An “open-source” model would have the training data and training instructions (basically the build script analogue) and you could examine and modify what goes into the final artifact.
