The last thing I saw on a Trump gold coin (not this one) was that it basically had less gold in it than sea water. The value really depends on scrap price. I always remember the Preppers show episode with the hippie commune. They were already involved with the local community and were talking about how they would just invite everyone to the party and keep scaling up. The show tried so hard to inject problems into the plan but they were the only ones who looked like they had a realistic idea. Everyone else was planning to solo the world or bug out to ???.
Real world there are plenty of examples of the local community pulling together before the government and cops show up to take charge and screw it all up.
I knew a couple of different people who would fabricate drama if they were actually doing well for once. In a good relationship with a supportive partner? Starts talking to their ex who just got out of prison. Job and housing in order? Spends rent money on a $1200 dog. Things quieted down? Starts fights. I don’t need that nonsense anywhere near my life.

It always seemed like silly marketing until your kid gets Alfa-gal or you start cooking for people with allergies. The amount of stuff that has additives made from mammals, wheat, shellfish, egg, etc is really surprising. Processed in a factory/machine that also produces nuts, etc can be enough to kill some people. If they can and will say X free instead of saying everything “may contain X” that is a wonderful thing.

I don’t consider most conservative hunters and shooters to actually be very skilled or knowledgeable. This is based very heavily on a lot of experience and interactions. Trump country is different. I was driving through a rural township and saw these signs “justice for some guy” and searched for the name. Nearby towns news article said he had multiple accounts of SA on kids and when the cops arrived with a warrant, he drove drunk into a bunch of stuff before getting rolled into a ditch. And now half the locals are mad that he’s in jail presumably without bail. WTF.
Same reason the US is having problems with conservatives wanting to ban drag shows and have everyone to give all their information to third party companies for age verification. Their imaginary sky daddy told them to be an angry asshole to everyone having fun or minding their own business.
