News•Streamer 'Troll' Johnny Somali Found Guilty on All Counts, Sentenced to South Korean Prison Labor Camp For Public Nuisance CrimesEnglish
122·4 days agoThis is very true. I’ve got business past and present in many countries, and the US is by far the one we have to be the most careful to cover ourselves when dealing with.
What they’ve done is move all the stuff that a lot of countries’ governments would handle impartially through regulation or legislation, made them private civil matters, and called it “Freedom”. This incentivises people to file suits for anything they can think of, and those on the receiving end can end up bankrupted even when the courts rule in their favour.

Looking at how the clock in Windows defaults based on region, it seems to be mostly the Whiter of the former British colonies plus a few South American countries that use 12h (for computing, at least). The rest of the world are all 24h.
Does she refer to it as “hora militar” though?

4·8 days agoI would posit that if you genuinely and sincerely believed what the Bible says, you’d be extremely heavily incentivised not to fuck about bombing people. Far more likely that whoever he might be talking about doesn’t actually believe it at all, but is pretending to in order to manipulate others.

Up until today I’d just assumed without thinking about it that she wasn’t involved in any of the scummier Epstein dealings, but she’s just done a good job of making me question that.

7·13 days agoYeah, the irony is that I’m sure you could do some sort of blockchain-based DRM that didn’t need a centralized server. Does such a thing exist? Patent pending…

Yeah, I think this is a lot more plausible than the wall heating theory that someone further up got way more upvotes for.
