    A lot of people, mainly from older generations but not exclusively by any means, hear something and use it in the context they learned it without questioning where it came from. You may have heard a boomer say a variation of “jewed out of” for instance, or you yourself might have said “gypped”. I question every older phrase at this point, some are fine but some aren’t things I want to say.
