Wireless mice with dongles are still pretty neat. Virtually zero connection issues, just have to change the battery once in a while. Very useful if you don’t have a fixed working space (e.g. college student constantly moving between different lecture halls and study spaces) and don’t like using the laptop trackpad/trackpoint
