    I think the author’s point is more subtle than that.

    Yes, of course men do not have it harder than women in the 21st century. She’s not saying that. She saying that the set of socially acceptable “man” behaviors is smaller than the set of socially acceptable “woman” behaviors. Men don’t have it harder, but “man” is a smaller target than “woman”. That boys get told to “man up”, and that there isn’t an equivalent for girls.

    The title may make it sound like some provocative MRA bullshit, but reading it did not give me that impression.
