The first time it was to Liverpool fans, in response to them chanting “You’re getting sacked in the morning”. It was all entirely good natured banter to my eye - he had already chuckled at the song and turned to have a wee dig back at them, still smiling. All in good fun, despite some people in the media and social trying to make it out to be something more confrontational.
The second time was after full time, when he went over to the City fans, and although I didn’t see it at the time, I think it was really just a sign of “we’ve achieved so much, don’t be downhearted, we’ll be back,” etc.
