What I’ve heard is that you basically need to buy Benchmade in person, because their QA isn’t great. Inspect the knife and if everything is lined up, then you have a lifetime knife. I bought a ZeroTolerance (ZT) knife around 9 years ago that I carry every day, and I’d have zero (no pun intended) issues recommending them to anyone. They’re also made in the USA. They’re a little more expensive than Benchmade, but they do have solid QA, and they’re better knives IMO.
