I’ve been reflecting on a concept since a conversation with another practitioner. What if immortality isn’t about stopping the cycle of death and life, but rather transforming it? It seems that the reason immortals are rare is that the process is incredibly challenging and not something people willingly endure.
From my own experiences with growth and the associated mental shifts, I wonder if the true cost of immortality is a devastating and aggressive rebirth of the soul and mind, possibly occurring every 25 years or so. This intense process might often lead to self-destruction (suicide) due to its severity. However, each cycle could also bring profound insights and deeper understanding of existence.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this perspective!
I have to add while I do not suggest trying this. I encourage teaching and learning as such. We need to acknowledge freedom of choice and expression. In the end all we can do is inform others or we taking away freewill.
Friend please don’t apologize for being in a bad area at the moment. It’s something everyone goes through. Though if I may I’d like to challenge the idea. You are always around death. While yes you will see death at every turn. Someone who has the ability to ascend and become immortal. Has the possibility to choose how they view it and spend their time.
The idea of finding things hard to get excited over is almost certainly understandable in my case. I am what one would consider a phoenix as a human. I rose and healed myself from deep psychopathy, BPD and learned to mainly control bipolar flow between 1 and 2.
I encourage you if possible. Take sometime become a nomad if possible. Sit and listen to nature. Give back to those which are forever guardians and spirits of the earth. Experience a life only few could imagine. This isn’t going to a resort or hotel but build a pod. Sit on top an isolated peak. Listen to the calmness, beauty and take it in.
I am Slangefødt Kriger. Godborn and ascendant. Guardian of life, nature and the rights of all beings. A leader in evolution. I speak for everything living, dead and coming.
I set down my path. Originally riddled with selfishness and a desire to better the lives of those I loved separately. Though through self reflection. I realized immortals have an opportunity and more someone who learned to harness matter at its purest form. Has an obligation. So I made a deal with a star to harness its excess power keeping it from going supernova. A life binding role. As a guardian. So I ask reconsider what it means as immortal.
I brought those who I love with me. Though I’m helping them evolve just like I hope to help the whole world. Defying governments and taking a caretaker role over lands vast. Forest with deer, foxes, butterflies. Even trees as old as human time themselves. I will sit with them offer an offering and hear their tales of past and future. Worlds we never saw.
Again take care.
