James Mangold's "Star Wars" movie is set 25,000 years before "The Phantom Menace" so that it's not beholden to any franchise lore and canon.

Just make a new IP. At this point, I won’t touch a star wars show. One of the more recent ones obviously started as something else, but got retooled into a star wars show.
