(Alternatives being seen as wasteful, contributing to e-waste from cables and chargers, and the dreaded issue of one platform preferring a connector over another.)

    I know you were just joking, but it’s not a joke based on reality. Unless the EU thing and everyone hating on changing connectors was just overblown bullshit.

    People are very serious about this issue.

    That all said. I’m very excited about our USB-C future. One cable to rule them all!
