After a bit of a holiday break, I’m back to work on Shattered Pixel Dungeon, which includes laying out some plans for the coming year! This post starts with a year in review, and then lists the major changes and additions that I have planned for Shattered Pixel Dungeon in 2025 and beyond.

    Thanks for the kind words! To go over your points:

    1. I’m afraid it’s an intended drawback that the sandals don’t charge passively. I don’t want the player to be able to easily wait about and then trigger seed effects like sungrass.
    2. The plan is mainly to improve how strong the Warrior feels. Believe it or not he, and the berserker subclass, actually have the highest winrates. Empowering defensive and giving passive shield regen are really good at the game’s average level of play (at least 1 win, 0-chal).
