That may have changed over time, but I’d still bet that the median age here is higher. So, apparently at least a few Lemmy apps do not automatically condense whitespace. This means that I very regularly notice comments with “extra” spaces between sentences on Lemmy, which suggests those users are probably at least 35-40 years old.
