A few years back, I went to this dinner organised by a group of “Christian Union” student clubs from a couple of universities where they brought along people from other religions/beliefs to have discussions.
They told me that Christianity is not a moral compass.
I was at least grateful for their honesty, for admitting all one need to do is accept Jesus and all your sins are forgiven.
It’s honestly scary they feel people can have a free pass to do whatever and still get into heaven.
