We want your best ACKS for Mars Attracts! Mars Attracts currently sounds a little quiet, and we would like your help filling out the ambient soundscape with your best impression of a Martian guest. To get involved, all you need to do is send us short audio clips of your best attempt at the infamous “Ack Ack” sound. The samples you send us will be used as background sound effects to fill out the park -- it won't be replacing the main voiceover work.
This seems more like a PR/engagement move.
I will add that the developer seems rather savvy in terms of pre-release promotion, their videos always get a lot of views and engagement.
