As part of the 25th anniversary celebration of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG, along with the previously announced Legenday Collection: 25th Anniversary Edition, five booster packs of early 2000s Yu-Gi-Oh trading cards will be reissued in 2023, bringing back beloved cards like Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Dark Magician, game maker Konami announced recently. The five standalone booster packs, listed below, are set to arrive

There are reprints of 5 sets:

  • Legend of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon
  • Metal Raiders
  • Pharoah’s Servant
  • Spell (Magic) Ruler
  • Invasion of Chaos

Note that Dark Crisis, which was one of the 6 packs in the 25th Anniversary box, is NOT getting reprinted like the other 5.

These packs contain some important and pricey cards like Delinquent Duo, Solemn Judgement and Dimension Fusion. Since some of these have taken up permanent residence on the Forbidden list this is a good opportunity to get them since there’s not a lot of other chances to reprint them.

    Still not a bad time to buy, prices of old cards were already falling quite a bit in anticipation of the release and it looks like some cards are seeing a new price bump because of increased demand, so hard to predict what will keep falling vs what has already bottomed out
