Rep. Greg Casar is leading a thirst strike Tuesday after Gov. Abbott signed a bill that would block local efforts to require water breaks for workers.

I can’t wrap my brain around how a Texas governing body OF ALL PLACES could try to kill the most basic of heat safety regulations. It’s evil.
