A Utah mother of six who gave parenting advice on YouTube made her initial court appearance on charges that she and the owner of a relationship counseling business abused and starved her children.
I can maybe answer some of that. fell down this weird rabbit hole about her family last year. the friend is some kind of professional (psychologist maybe?), so Ruby would leave her kids with her for “treatment.” they sent the oldest son to one of those weird wilderness “camps” which sounded a lot like the type of “school” Paris Hilton was at. so leaving the other kids at the friend’s house isnt so far fetched.
I’m really confused about the dad. he was in so many videos and clearly involved enough with the family to know there was some fucked up shit happening. Ruby was clearly in charge, but he was there.
the whole story is so awful and I’m glad the kids are finally getting help.
