I am theoretically switching over from Reddit to Lemmy. Finding myself spending more time on Lemmy than on Reddit. Maybe it’s because I am limited to using the desktop and can’t aimlessly browse Reddit on my iPhone. Of late, the only subreddits I cared for were on sports and their matchday threads and r/watches. I found myself aimlessly browsing through r/AskReddit and asking and answering pointless questions.

Just recently finally bit the bullet and joined the fediverse recently, playing with this Jerboa for Lemmy app is what convinced me tbh. I’m a RIFugee as I’ve heard a few people call it; I loved reddit is fun so much. So far, Jerboa seems similar in it’s simplicity and ease of use, with extra features I really love too - maybe it’s actually a Lemmy thing and not just Jerboa, but the color coding different levels of comments is surprisingly convenient.
