Demarai Gray has switched international allegiance from England to Jamaica. The Everton forward, 26, who has played through the age groups for England, has been named in Jamaica’s squad for the upcoming Gold Cup. He received a call-up to the full England squad from Gareth Southgate in 2018 but did not make an appearance. Jamaica manager Heimir Hallgrimsson has been in contact with Gray on and off since his appointment last September as part of a plan to recruit top European talent eligible to play for the national team.
