I’ve been disenfranchised by the mods for a long time, so while I don’t like seeing what use to be a good thing burn to the ground, it really is rooted at the poor administration overall at the site that allowed abusive moderators to run major subs. This outcome is more akin to the snake eating its own tail, but I agree. These toxic abusive moderators getting booted out of a major vein of public discourse is only going to be a positive.
