You don’t get to fain outrage about my statements regarding furries while putting them in the same bucket as “things you don’t want your kids to see.” You assumed my response would be that of a right wing bigot while simultaneously sharing their views. Your exact argument regarding furries is used to belittle the rights of trans people by right wing politicians. Bruce Bostleman made that exact argument before congress recently while fighting to restrict gender affirming care and bathroom access to trans children. Again Furries are a fandom they are not and do not claim a gender identity. The closest thing you get to what I guess you think a Furry is, is sometimes called tran-species another term used commonly by people like Bostleman to make those same arguments. The preferred term however is Otherkin or Therian because those in those subcultures themselves find that term offensive they know they are not the same as Trans people and find its use against trans people horrible. If you going to so fervently defend a group maybe you should learn a little about them first. Many people within that fandom are trans and would be deeply offended by your statements. In regards to your “satirical” response, which is it? I believe you took that statement at face value and responded like any person would. You see that was the point to make you for a fleeting moment deal with the hate a trans person, like me, deals with on a daily basis.

The point regarding churches was meant to show how the “Normal” people who espouse this this rhetoric and hate are statistically far more dangerous than trans people conducting book readings who are just attempting to normalize their very existence.

I hope you grow as a person but I doubt you will even finish reading this. By some miracle you do you are in the wrong here, your a bigot, but you can change that, accept that and move on. Regardless I am done with this conversation.
