The Toronto Public Library says its systems, which were the target of a cyberattack in late October, will remain down until 2024.

According to my librarian wife, this is one of the largest library systems in the country, if not the world.

    And with limited budgets. Libraries have trouble making ends meet. They’re non-profits. They couldn’t afford the pay the ransome.
