In the small town of Rockwell, Maine in October 1957, a giant metal machine befriends a nine-year-old boy and ultimately finds its humanity by unselfishly saving people from their own fears and prejudices.

One of my favorite animated movies. Made by WB studios, it’s a shame they didn’t try to compete more against pixar and disney. 2D animation movie that remains my favorite animated movie to this day. A great movie about about a boy and his giant robot friend.

    It’s a very short book, and I loved it as a small child, so take that into consideration; it’s no revelatory literature, but in 3rd grade it was eye-opening in a fantastic way.
