I don't want iMessage for Android – I just want everyone to use good messaging apps

iMessage for Android is only a cool idea because of the ridiculous attitude that's developed around the service, when other apps exist.

iMessage was a breath of fresh air for people who did use SMS.

But even before the launch of iMessage it was dumb to communicate mainly over SMS simply because of how shitty it was back then.
