Abortion clinics have asked judge to block ban after amendment to state constitution was passed enshrining right to procedure

The Ohio supreme court has dismissed the state’s challenge to a judge’s order that has blocked enforcement of Ohio’s near ban on abortions for the past 14 months.

The ruling moves action in the case back to the Hamilton county common pleas court, where abortion clinics asked Judge Christian Jenkins this week to throw out the law following voters’ decision to approve enshrining abortion rights in the state constitution.

The people that are trying to ban abortion are also part of the rise of fascism here in the US.

Fascists have no admiration or respect for democracy, only contempt. They see people who vote wrong as not really citizens anyway. If they had their way, the people that voted in favor of the ballot measure would be severaly punished for their vote, though opinions probably vary on what the punishment would be.

Some fascists might say to take away their voting privilege, while others would fail to see the irony in being comfortable having the state murder them for being pro-abortion.

You’d be amazed how many anti-abortion people are pro death penalty. Zero self-awareness and zero congruence.
