… Ortego’s ex-wife had told police that Ortego had threatened to shoot her daughter and other children who were at the home according to the Vidor Police report.
He should have been on a 72 hour hold-and-assess immediately following the incident. Same for anyone who pulls a weapon on unarmed and not aggressive people. Clearly something is broken in someone who resorts to pulling a gun on someone for no reason.
