There are longtime users I watch or know personally who contributed a lot of content by way of (1) giving / receiving gildings that go to Reddit for server up time, (2) submissions, and (3) moderation (reporting bad behavior). People like PoppinKream, who says they’re just waiting for something to get better established before migrating. That won’t be long considering these devs have renewed vigor at this opportunity.
It’s long-post users like that who separate Reddit from the likes of Facebook or Tiktok. What attracted intelligent discussions in the right subs. Once they leave, it will be just trash content.
