Yes, a small branch. I’ve seen them on many different surfaces, even inside on a window frame. Many of the photos I have and will be posting (at least for the moment) having been taken up to 10yrs ago, so I’m not certain about the use flash. I likely did use one on this as it was part of my standard setup.
