honestly there’s some reasons why we wanted to do this… the r/exmuslim community never made an official migration to lemmy, and this community would otherwise be empty if this bot wasn’t mirroring some of it. Hopefully at some point there will be enough subscribers and posters to move it forward and we can give ExMooseBot better tasks to do, like captioning images for accessibility, etc.
