They have a lot of “involuntary” members. Some gun ranges require membership. I think they get an insurance discount? Over on /r/liberalgunowners I saw a lot of reasons people joined but didn’t want to.

I won’t listen to political gun nuts, but still, I’m shocked to hear even the briefest mention of the NRA. No one is talking about it.
