We had a small gap between us and City that was deceptive because of their 2 games in hand, we had injuries to key players preventing us from playing the way we were playing in the first half of the season, and opposing teams were figuring us out anyway. It felt like we should win it but for weeks and weeks we all saw the signs of disappointment reveal themselves. Expectation without hope.
