Just watched this the other day and I regret not watching it sooner. One of the better films to ever grace modern cinema. The three villain archetypes and the simple yet intersecting goals gives focus to developing each of the characters.

And Death has been immortalized in my memory. Especially with that iconic whistle. I find myself just humming it at times. Especially when I turn a dark corner. Haha. 😆

    Plus the denial of death and the dangers for it is also pretty realistic. Puss’s descent to cynicism and cowardice is believable from a stance of someone who’s used to hero worship and being a “big legend” suddenly stripped of his power and forced to contend with his own fragile mortality.
