I was reading Tales From The Mos Eisley Cantina book, and this guy got mentioned. I had a hard time visualizing him, so I went to wookipedia to check him out.
This is a Legends (old EU) only character. A pretty nuts idea. A bounty hunter who is cybernetic with lots of droid parts, but also incorporates organic parts from different alien species. He’s like a jigsaw puzzle, discarding old parts and adding different new ones.
He was apparently originally an organic humanoid who was cybernetically enhanced to become a soldier for another race.
Eventually he struck out and became a feared bounty hunter. He had multiple different droid components and organic parts from at least six species. It is unknown if any of his original form is still intact or what he looks like under his helmet.
In the story I was reading, a teenaged Greedo manages by happenstance to get the drop on Gorm and shoot him in the back, saving a pair of bounty hunters. The hunters take Greedo in to begin his career. Not long after being shot, Gorm reappeared on Tattootine, looking no worse for the wear. Gorm was Greedo’s only “kill” in his short career.
Oh damn I forgot about Gorm! Man, that makes me miss the EU even more now.
