This game is absolutely worth its full price of $40. The gameplay is very linear, but in a way that I quite enjoyed. The sequel, A Plague Tale: Requiem, is equally amazing. Easily two of my favorite games of all time.

      It’s been free for years. It just cycles through each service. I don’t think the game has actually ever cost anything.

      Yep. I only found out about it because I was going through my library of free games to see if any were worth playing.
