I was wondering why he got the gig and turns out it was offered to a bunch of comedians who all turned it down. The Filipino press made it look like he was the first choice or that he “landed” it when he’s more like the only one healthy to play in a basketball game mired by COVID.

As expected, the jokes that he obviously wrote (including another about his mom) fell flat just as much as those that were written for him. Talagang nilaglag niya pa mga writers.

I dunno, I could probably have written a better Barbie/Oppenheimer joke…
