    Commissioner Daniella Beltran questioned why an earlier version of the proposal requiring 2% of spaces to have electric vehicle charging stations and 5% to be EV ready, plus one bicycle rack per 20 spaces, was changed. Charles Martinez, an attorney with the city solicitor’s office, indicated the city believed it could lose a case whereby those provisions were challenged.

    How in the world would they lose a lawsuit over this? Cities all over can set whatever the hell rules they want!
