AI can’t even figure out how humans consume nutrients. And folks expect me to trust AI to diagnose medical issues?.. 🙄
Well, it doesn’t have to be the final word. It can just be something that works as a suggestion to go get some input from a human doctor. The article says it had an 89% accuracy rate. It would be interesting to know how this % compares to the average human doctor. They also mentioned that since it only requires a smartphone to do the test that people in countries without good access to medical care can use it instead of using nothing.
If we are unintentionally putting information about our own fitness into our acoustic signals that we are unable to detect naturally, it seems like other animals are likely doing the same thing.
