This puzzle had several damaged pieces, helping to make it more difficult than average 1000 piece puzzles. I will trash this, not donate it back to the thrift shop.

Damaged pieces? I see no missing pieces though…
I wouldn’t trash it, I’d glue it down to some sort of base board or something, color/paint in any significant damaged areas, and clear coat over the whole thing to hang on the wall!

Thanks, if you look closely you will see partial pieces, and some cases I found parts of torn pieces that I stuffed into spots where they seemed to match.
Cool cool. Matters not the imperfections and slight damages, it’s a puzzle with character!
I’d save it and frame it if it was mine.
