Well, the fact that the previous administration - and, to this day, fully one half of our political establishment - politicized public health and vaccination sure as shit isn’t making that number smaller.

Republicans having zero policy and the only way they can win elections is fear mongering.

The US has lost over a million people to direct covid many of those possibly avoidable with vaccines…

If i told you there was a disease killing 1 out of every 500 people and your best protection is a vaccine that the scientific community agree is safe, why would you not take it?

why would you not take it?

I saw an instagram reel with scary music talking about how the companies that make the vaccine get paid for it, and one of the commenters said it killed their uncle.

Why? I’ll tell you why. Massive amount of ignorant fucking morons.

Example: my Mom is 86, my sister lives with her in FL. My sister is hard core anti-vax dumbass. Only reason my mom got the initial Covid vaccine is because she had a medical emergency and ended up in the hospital. The hospital essentially “required” her to get the vaccine.

Now, sister has zero and mom has no boosters. Hoping my sister doesn’t “kill” my mom by infectious contact. I couldn’t care less if my sister dies from Covid(or, anything).
