But really, despite everyone’s kneejerk reaction, I’m actually looking forward to seeing how this plays out. This has been something of an obvious ticking time bomb the entire series: Ruby/Sarina finding out that her first love, whom she has a deep, unhealthy attachment to due to the circumstances of her previous life, is actually her twin brother in her new life? Piled on top of how the two never really bonded as siblings in this life? Yeah, that’s a quick recipe to a fucked up mental state and it will be interesting to see how Aka-sensei navigates the topic and resolves it.
Did Aka just said Sweet Home Oshi no Ko as canon and go on a break. HOLY SHIT the incest shippers can’t be stopped anymore.

Imagine the sheer awkwardness of the conversations in later chapters, specially with Kana, Akane, and the Prez if Aqua accepts. Would be hilariously entertaining to see how they’d justify this.
But yeah he’s definitely turning her down immediately. We all know the only valid ships in this show are Aqua x Therapy and Ruby x Therapy

Kana must learn that sometimes the biggest threats come from within the house.

Everyone is denying the incest ship, but I want Aka sensei to go through with it. If the Oshi no Ko twincest plot actually falls through we will have no choice but to bow down to the new imouto romance god. No “non blood related” nonsense, led us on for over 120 chapters, hard pivot to incest plot.
I think it would be way more interesting for the series to explore the relationship of “siblings who aren’t mentally siblings” than to shut it down immediately. Any case it wouldn’t be healthy to deny Ruby this kind of conversation. It will take time to build real rapport.
Can’t wait to see the dynamic between these two from now on. Will she ever treat him like ‘Aqua’ anymore? What about in front of others? Ruby doesn’t seem like the type to pretend, specially after Aqua told her to stop lying here.
I’m sure Akane and Kana will catch on that something’s wrong. I want to see how they react.

I have complete faith that Aka is going shut this ship down pretty quickly next chapter but goddamn doing this cliffhanger and then taking a break is such a troll move.
Any OnK conversation is gonna be insufferable for the next two weeks. This stuff leaked since like Friday and it’s already been awful.
Ngl, Aqua describing this situation to Kana would be hilarious.
But we’re in the endgame now, there is no time for funny shenanigans. The ship is either killed on the second page of next chapter, or it becomes real. Aka please, let it be the former.
