If this merger goes through every grocery store within like 20min of me would be either this mega corp or amazon…
We need a lotta things, but damn do we need to end the mega mergers too.
Grocery stores have already been jacking up food prices to gouge everyone just because they can. We don’t need a bigger food oligopoly.
I thought they were the same company already. Huh
Deal started in 2022 but hasn’t wrapped up yet. Was expected to wrap up in early 2024.
