Whats not to love about peas? Theyre delicious. They keep well. Easy to grow. Can be planted early. Can freeze 'em.
Best of all, they help build your soil.

One of the few veggies my kids will eat, although I gather that’s mostly for the novelty value of popping them out of the…casing? I realize now I don’t think I know an appropriate word for that.
We always called them ‘pods’.
Oh, duh! I did know that, it it was locked away in some dusty corner of my brain.
My peas are no where near this size yet! So exciting to see where mine are, hopefully, headed!!!
