While I find this as infuriating as the rest of you, we all know that people just don’t care.
Google has cleverly shifted the definition of privacy to mean allowing cuddly Google to look after all your stuff and protect it from anyone else.
Someone will be along any moment to tell me all about reasonable ads telling them about important things they didn’t know they wanted to buy.
There’s a really easy solution to this. Stop using Chrome.
This is about them tracking web behavior, not them reading history or anything directly from the browser.
Still stop using chrome.

Individual sites may use things from google as well which identfies you again. Google fonts, e.g.
But this ain’t my home territory.
Safe to assume their keyboard does the same.
Come on, let’s be real here.
Most people who use incognito mode aren’t worried about being tracked by big companies, they’re looking at porn and the only privacy they’re looking for is privacy from their significant other and a locked door.
Still I never switched to Chrome because I saw this coming miles away.
