A bill that would allow police in France to spy on suspects by remotely activating cameras, microphone including GPS of their phones has been passed.
French here, this new law indeed allows police departments to spy on people and I’m totally against it. But to do so, they will need a judge to accept. It’s a kind of warrant. I’m still against because entering devices will emply using vulnerabilities. What are they going to do? Ask constructors to create vulnerabilities? This law is wierd.

Whoever deleted it probably had the right idea, the source is not french and looks a sketchy as feck. I found the link again in my RSS reader and the amount of seriously dodgy adverts on it. The article is only available on these seriously sketchy so-called news sites.
