NoScript add-on is great for disabling any scripts running on a page. The user can view the domains the scripts are running from and enable them individually.

At first it breaks every web page you visit but after a little time white-listing everything runs fine and it makes for much cleaner browsing.

    Good recommendation. Haven’t tried it in a few years, back when I was only starting to become the tech nerd I am today. I’ll have to try it again, now that I know what I’m doing with this stuff.
